Where: The Waterdown Legion

Cost:  Adults $15, Children $10.  (At the door, Adults $18, Children $12)

What:  A Party and a fundraiser.  Potluck dinner, Silent Auction, Raffles,

Childrens’ Games, a DJ, a Magician, and more.

REGISTRATION for the 2012 – 2013 school year has now begun!

For your consideration:

1. Please note the deadline for early registration. Families registering before February 29th will pay a deposit of $200. After March 1st the fee will increase to $400.

2.  You must submit the entire package to register your child. (Please note: The Ministry of Health has informed us that every student’s immunization form must be up to date for them to be allowed into school. The Ministry has provided waiver forms for those who choose not to immunize their children; ask at the office for more information.)

3. If you prefer, you may download the REGISTRATION FORMS and fill them out online before printing them to bring in to the school. A few pages need signatures – and there is a check list to make sure you have completed everything.

4.  If you are registering your child in our TODDLER PROGRAM, please note that our fee schedule only lists the cost for those children attending 5 mornings a week or 5 full days a week.  For the cost of other options (three mornings a week, or three full days a week, for example), please contact the office. Thank you.

Thanks to Mrs. Katia, children (and adults too!) were kept busy painting a variety of festive ceramics in the craft room.  We had a one-of-a-kind gingerbread lighthouse for a raffle, thanks to a creative parent.  There was a steady stream of children waiting to have their picture taken with Santa, so our photographer was kept very busy! And when everyone had had their fill, the cleanup elves worked their magic, tidying everything away.  Thank you, everyone!

Our annual Christmas concert takes place on the morning of December 20 this year, at 9:30 a.m. Children should arrive at school as usual.  The concert itself is held in Notre Dame.

Don’t forget to browse our Festive Food Fair in the school gym after the concert!

Santa will be our special guest on Saturday, December 10, when we hold our Pancake Breakfast with Santa!  Mrs. Phyllis’ and Mrs. Barbara’s classes will be our hosts.  Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities: children and their parents, grandparents, alumnae and neighbours! Tickets are $5.00 each and will be available at the office or at the door.

Our Monthly Parent/Caregiver Coffee Club

Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 9:00 a.m.

Please join other parents/caregivers in the WMS French room for some fresh hot coffee and treats along with the opportunity to get to know one another, engage in some informal chat and discuss WMS current events and latest newsletter.  The focus will be on the informal chat!
