Casa Second Language
Our French teacher, Madame Marlène, is in the school 4 mornings each week. She withdraws children from the classrooms by age group, for half hour lessons twice a week.
Madame Marlène focuses on capturing the interest and enthusiasm of the children. She mixes group lessons with individual activities, and varies her expectations according to the abilities of each child. Speaking only in French, she uses a wide variety of props and games to stimulate the children; they love going to French!
